Brent McConkey
Bio
Mr. McConkey joined the Office of General Counsel on July 16, 2012. Prior to his employment with NC State, Mr. McConkey practiced as an attorney for Parker Poe Adams & Bernstein LLP from 2004-2012 and served as the Town Attorney for the Town of Clayton, North Carolina. Mr. McConkey received a B.A. degree in Politics from Wake Forest University in 2001, and a J.D. degree from the University of North Carolina School of Law in 2004. Mr. McConkey’s practice covers a wide range of legal issues including NC State’s procurement, advancement, real estate, facilities, extension, and other business functions.
