Jordan Nance
Bio
Jordan Nance joined the Office of General Counsel in March 2022 as Associate General Counsel. Prior to joining NC State, Jordan worked as an attorney in the legal departments of a publicly traded Fortune 500 company and a privately held renewable energy developer. Mr. Nance began his legal career with the law firm Smith Moore Leatherwood in Greensboro, North Carolina. Mr. Nance received a B.A. in History from NC State University in 2002, and a J.D. from Vanderbilt University in 2005. Mr. Nance focuses on providing legal counsel relating to the University’s real estate portfolio, and supporting other transactional and contractual matters.
